Digging up the Past

Greetings friends!

The journey of trawling through old online backups and archived data has been interesting. We’ve decided to bring a few historical items back to life…

The 2009 Mystral Tide Album “Isle of Narrows” took the project into a distinctly sad and visual landscape. Recorded with electric violin, piano, orchestral pads and splashes of aggressive guitar, it was performed alongside projected visuals (cutups of urban scenes filmed in Japan, and references to decay in a post-apocalyptic environment). The release requires a pretty committed listener, and based on feedback from several supporters we’ve re-opened the door to let a little extra darkness into your life.

Originally distributed as a 1xCD + 1xDVD set, we have made this release available for free streaming / $5 AU download on our Bandcamp site. Although the original DVD release is out of print, we have inserted two of the original videos (Dawn View and The Decline Of Logic) in the download as a free extra.

Sit back, kill the lights, and enjoy…

We have made the archived version of the Mystral Tide Site available here, for those who want to enjoy some old school html and read about previous material.
